The Bailey Human Care Center
A Free Community Outreach Program of the Tujunga United Methodist Church
What We Do
The Bailey Human Care Center is a free community outreach program of the Tujunga United Methodist Church, that has been providing services to the local community since 1981. It is an entirely volunteer run organization that serves over 300 needy families and individuals a week. Our Food Cuppard provides emergency food services for homeless and low income families/individuals. Our Clothes Closet offers free donated clothing for adults and children. We also provide medical equipment and blankets for those in need. All of our services are free of charge.
Our Services
Food Cupboard
We provide a variety of food items, including bread, canned goods, and protein, for low-income individuals and families facing emergencies. If cooking isn't an option, just let us know – we'll make arrangements to help.
Clothes
Our Clothes Closet is stocked with clothing for everyone, from little ones to adults. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Medical/Hygiene Kits
Our center provides essential medical equipment like canes, crutches, and walkers, as well as hygiene items such as toothbrushes, soap, and washcloths.
Be A Volunteer
Every volunteer hour you contribute makes a significant difference. Together, we can continue to provide crucial services to those in need and build a stronger, more compassionate community.

Volunteering at The Bailey Center is a great place to make new friends and make a difference helping people in their lives. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Make a Donation
We work with local business to get their left over food products, that would otherwise go to waste, to those in need. We also buy food from the L.A. Regional Food Bank through financial donations. We also accept clothing and medical equipment donations.

If there's something you would like to donate, please drop by our Fellowship Hall, within our church grounds. We would like you to know that we wholeheartedly thank you for the help. You may also contact us if ever you have any other questions in making a donation.
